Like the standard Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the LWB version is loaded with features which include touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel, Multibeam LED headlamps and a host of driver assistance systems. Although the brand hasn’t disclosed any specifications on the powertrain, the E 200 L badging indicates that it could be powered by the same 2.0-litre petrol engine from the standard E 200. This four cylinder engine puts out 184PS of power and 300Nm of torque.

Initially, the LWB Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be built in China for China. However, there could be plans to launch this version in other parts of the world. India will get the standard variant of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class only in 2017. However, it’s too soon to tell if the LWB version will be offered as well.
